Firstly huge happy birthday wishes to Laureena sorry we forgot Luke needs to tell us these things I have it on the calender for next year I will not forget again......
Big news this week is that Luke has his first official paid teaching job. He will be working at St Kevins as the instrumental music teacher he is very excited and starts at the beginning of the new school year . St Kevins is also the school his cousin Brookes daughter Livvy attends so small world ........
He is a fully qualified music teacher but still needs to complete his graduate degree in education so he will teach , go to uni and work at the hotel so its going to be a busy year for him .....He has prac to complete and he can't do it at a school he's being paid at so they are going to give him time off for that which is great ......he is going to be one busy boy....
Another school year is almost at an end gosh can't beleive that we are in week 6 next week only 4 to go......can not wait for the holidays and the new year.
I ordered some embossing folders and die cutters for the machine that Kasey and I bought from America they arrived this week and are awesome and soooooo cheap at the moment so kasey has ordered a heap more so now will be able to make heaps of my own die cuts letters etc for scrapbooking they get expensive when you have to buy them all the time....hopefully will actually get time to play with them this weekend ....you just never know.
Had Miss Mia for the weekend last weekend boy you forget how much work 2 year olds can be although we did have a great time but this granny was exhausted ..........maybe its the 5 year olds i work with all week.
Kasey is doing well in her invitation business and is full on and has made some amazing invites and has branched out and is making cakes.
I have been cooking up a storm in a bid to save some cashola especially for the boys lunches and they are loving it my new early morning activity ...........
Jeremy has just started his first job and is so far loving it he is working at KFC on the counter .....he can't wait until he gets to cook out the back ......keeps him busy that and his lawn mowing jobs he is trying to save up for a new bike .....
can't beleive he finishes in a couple of weeks he still want to get an apprenticeship in construction so hopefully will get a school based traineeship next year to finish off year 11 and 12 ........
Hi have started this blog mainly after reading The Wrights (fantastic reading I love it)and realizing that we just don't catch up often enough with family or friends so hopefully this will keep everyone up to date on our (boring mundane crazy life) and news so here goes

Wow, sounds busy - busy at the moment!
Congrats to Luke on the job, small world indeed!
An embosser? Totally GREEN with jealousy! can I be rude and ask how much it was? My friend got one from lincraft for 99, but shares it with 2 other girls! Well done to kase on the new business venture!
Hey Car bought it on oztion.com.au for 80 dollars so halved 40 each but the embossing folders and die cutters were a bargain bought from ohmycrafts.com bloody brilliant a set of 3 alphabet fonts were 29 dollars ended up with small shoebox size box full for $50 some as low as 47 cents and postage was only 12.95 took just over 3 weeks to get here but the saving more than made up for that can't wait to see which ones kasey bought. Be so good Kasey is making some awesome invites and yep it is a very small world ......
Sorry the one we bought is a cutter/embosser so it does both and most of them take any brand of dies jsut need sometimes to buy an extra cutting mat
